A tiny victory for Tennessee absentee voters
August 14, 2012It may not seem like much, but I have to give credit to Tennessee for making a simple change to their absentee voting rules this year — seniors may now apply for an absentee ballot starting at age 60, down from 65. At a time when many new laws are focused on tightening restrictions to voting, it’s nice to see a move to increase access, however small.
